Cookie policy
Last updated: 3 July 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites function properly, remember preferences, and understand how visitors interact with content. Similar technologies — such as local storage entries and session identifiers — may serve comparable purposes. In this policy, we use "cookies" to refer to cookies and comparable technologies unless stated otherwise.
Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remaining until they expire or you delete them). They may be set by the website you visit ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services embedded on the site ("third-party cookies").
2. How Launch Narrative uses cookies
Launch Narrative Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202331785K) uses cookies on https://launchnarrative.pro/ to operate the site securely, remember your cookie consent choices, and — only with your permission — collect anonymised analytics and marketing referral data. We do not use cookies to profile you for advertising networks unrelated to our own services.
All content on this site remains fully visible and functional without enabling optional cookies. Essential cookies are required for consent storage and basic security; optional cookies are activated only after you choose Accept all or save customised preferences through our cookie banner.
3. Cookie categories
3.1 Essential cookies
Essential cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off through our preference centre. They include cookies that store your cookie consent decision (Accept all, Reject all, or Customise selections) so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Essential cookies may also support load balancing and security monitoring by our hosting provider.
Example: ln_cookie_consent — stores your consent choice and preference object — retention: 6 months — first-party.
3.2 Analytics cookies (optional)
Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate visit patterns — such as which pages are viewed most often, approximate geographic region, and referral source — so we can improve site structure and content clarity. Data is collected in anonymised or pseudonymised form where possible and is not used to identify you personally for marketing outreach.
Analytics cookies are placed only if you select Accept all or enable Analytics in the Customise panel. If you select Reject all, analytics cookies are not set.
3.3 Marketing cookies (optional)
Marketing cookies remember how you arrived at our site — for example, which campaign link you followed — so we can attribute enquiries to the correct source when you return within a defined window. We do not use these cookies to serve third-party advertisements on other websites.
Marketing cookies are placed only if you select Accept all or enable Marketing in the Customise panel.
4. Consent and your choices
When you first visit our site, a cookie banner presents three options:
- Accept all — Enables essential, analytics, and marketing cookies.
- Reject all — Enables essential cookies only; optional cookies are not set.
- Customise — Opens a preference panel where you can toggle optional categories individually before saving.
Your choice is stored in the ln_cookie_consent cookie for six months. After expiry, or if you clear cookies, the banner will appear again so you can review or change your preferences. You may also change preferences at any time by clearing site cookies and revisiting the site, or by contacting us at [email protected].
Withdrawing consent for optional cookies does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal. Essential cookies remain active because the site cannot record your preference without them.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through settings. Blocking all cookies may affect site functionality, including our ability to remember that you dismissed the consent banner. Instructions for common browsers are available from your browser provider's support pages.
Do Not Track signals are not uniformly supported across browsers and services. Our site responds to the explicit choices you make in our cookie banner rather than to DNT headers alone.
6. Third-party cookies
We minimise third-party cookies on this site. If we embed content or analytics tools from external providers in future, we will update this policy and request consent where required. Currently, optional analytics and marketing cookies described above are implemented as first-party cookies set by our domain.
7. Relationship to privacy law
Information collected through cookies may constitute personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore when it can be linked to an identifiable individual. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, your rights of access and correction, and how to contact us with privacy enquiries.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie policy to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, subject to any renewed consent requirements for new optional cookie categories.
